Grimstroke + Void Spirit

Why this works

Thinking about Soulbind creating a double target for Void Spirit is a common trap. While he has a lot of area damage, none of his core abilities are the kind of single-target burst that gets cleanly duplicated by Grimstroke's ultimate for a guaranteed kill. Void Spirit's spells like Resonant Pulse and Dissimilate are designed to hit multiple people anyway, so tethering two enemies together doesn't fundamentally change how he wants to fight. He can certainly damage both, but it's rarely enough to secure two kills from that interaction alone, making the direct synergy feel less impactful than it looks.

In a real game, this means the setup is more about creating pressure than landing a wombo combo. Grimstroke can land a Soulbind, and Void Spirit can jump in, forcing the enemy team to react or split up. This can create space or burn defensive items, which is useful. However, the enemy knows the threat is Void Spirit himself, not a duplicated spell. They can often focus him or save one of the tethered targets, breaking the chain of events. The two heroes don't actively hinder each other, but they don't offer a special, game-winning advantage either.
