Gyrocopter + Lion

Why this works

Trying to secure pickoffs with Lion's lockdown runs into a core timing problem. Gyrocopter needs significant farm to come online as a physical damage dealer and can't always react to gank attempts across the map. This creates a tempo mismatch where the team is split between playing aggressively and playing for farm. Gyrocopter's area damage from Flak Cannon and Call Down also doesn't focus down a single hexed target as effectively as a dedicated burst core would, leaving their kits feeling disconnected.

The result is often a fractured game. Lion roams for kills, but without a heavy hitter to follow up, he struggles to convert those kills into objectives. This can leave Gyrocopter farming alone and vulnerable, as the enemy team groups up to punish him. For this duo to work, Lion has to completely dominate the map early, creating so much pressure that the enemy can't get near Gyrocopter. Otherwise, the opposing team exploits the split-up pair and takes control before Gyrocopter hits his item timings.
