Gyrocopter + Wraith King

Why this works

Pairing these two cores feels like it should work, but it creates a resource problem. Both Gyrocopter and Wraith King want to occupy the safest lanes and jungle areas to farm their key items. They don't have a clear setup-and-payoff dynamic; Wraith King’s single stun isn't a unique enabler for Gyrocopter, who needs more sustained control to land his full damage output. Instead of one hero creating space for the other, they end up competing for the same map space and gold, which can leave both heroes weaker than they should be.

This farm conflict means their individual power spikes can feel delayed or underwhelming. During fights, they tend to operate on separate plans. Gyrocopter wants to use Call Down from a distance and kite with Flak Cannon, while Wraith King needs to walk directly into the enemy team to force them to deal with Reincarnation. This lack of a unified goal makes them easy to isolate. The enemy can often burst Gyrocopter down while Wraith King is still closing the gap, or simply ignore a reborn King because the follow-up damage isn't there.
