Hoodwink + Luna

Why this works

Pairing these two heroes looks better on paper than it feels in a real game. The idea is that a Hoodwink Bushwhack provides the perfect lockdown for Luna to get a full Eclipse off on a key target. This combo can definitely secure a kill, but it’s the only real point of synergy they have. Beyond that one interaction, their kits don't overlap well. Luna’s passive damage aura doesn't do much for a spell-focused hero like Hoodwink, and neither hero provides the frontline durability or reliable setup that the other needs to play comfortably.

What ends up happening is that both Hoodwink and Luna want to do similar things at the same time. They both need farm and levels to be effective, but neither is great at creating space for the other to get it. This can lead to awkward games where your team lacks a true initiator or a durable core to play behind. Your draft becomes very fragile and depends on getting early kills with your one combo. If that plan fails, both heroes can feel pretty useless as they get run over by teams with better lockdown or a stronger frontline.
