Hoodwink + Timbersaw

Why this works

Pairing these two up seems smart since they both care about trees, but in practice they actively work against each other. Timbersaw’s job is to cut every tree he can find with Whirling Death and his Chakrams to maximize his pure damage. This is a huge problem for Hoodwink. She needs those same trees to land a Bushwhack stun and to get the full benefit from Scurry’s evasion and movement speed. Every time Timbersaw fights effectively, he’s destroying the key parts of the map that his own teammate needs to function, turning his strength into a direct liability.

During a teamfight, this means Timbersaw might Timber Chain into a good spot, but after a few seconds of spinning, he's cleared out the very cover Hoodwink needed to follow up or stay safe. She gets left exposed and can’t contribute her control reliably. Their offensive goals don't align either. Hoodwink is looking for a clean setup for a long-range Sharpshooter, while Timbersaw is a chaotic brawler who makes space up close. They end up fighting separate battles instead of enabling each other, making it easy for opponents to pick them off one by one.
