Huskar + Muerta

Why this works

Drafting both Huskar and Muerta puts your team's damage into one basket. Huskar’s aggression relies on the magic damage from Burning Spear, and Muerta’s Pierce the Veil ultimate converts her own powerful attacks entirely to magic damage. This means a single Pipe of Insight or a couple of Glimmer Capes on key enemy heroes can neutralize both of your cores at the same time. The kits also don't mesh well. Huskar wants a save or hard lockdown to secure his dives, neither of which Muerta provides well. Muerta wants a sturdy frontliner to create space for her to attack, but Huskar is a diver, not a wall.

This problem shows up as soon as teamfights start. Huskar will Life Break a target, but the enemy can often survive the initial burst by activating magic resistance and then turning on him. If Muerta uses her ultimate to help, she becomes ethereal and can no longer draw physical attacks or tank any damage for the team. The fight quickly becomes a scenario where the enemy kites your two cores, who both struggle to get through the same magic barriers, or they simply focus their spells on Huskar and blow him up while Muerta can do little to intervene.
