Huskar + Slardar

Why this works

Sharing a map with these two can feel crowded, as both heroes want to play at a fast tempo and snowball from early kills. Huskar and Slardar often find themselves competing for the same farm and gank opportunities to hit their critical item timings. Because their kits don't effectively boost each other's kill potential, they can't accelerate their shared goal of taking over the map. This frequently leaves one hero underdeveloped, slowing down their objective-taking potential like an early Roshan.

The core of the issue is a damage-type mismatch. Slardar’s Corrosive Haze is a powerful armor reduction spell, but it does nothing to amplify Huskar’s main sources of early damage: the magic burn from Burning Spear and the initial burst of Life Break. When they try to combine their efforts on a single target, the damage isn't multiplied in the way you'd expect. They essentially attack the same hero independently, without the synergy needed to secure kills consistently.
