Invoker + Leshrac

Why this works

Setting up a kill with this duo feels direct. Invoker can use Tornado or Cold Snap to guarantee Leshrac’s Split Earth connects, and then both heroes can unload a huge amount of area magic damage. If Invoker has the right orbs, you can pile on even more burst, often deleting a single target before they can react. This initial ganking potential is the core idea behind pairing them, creating a strong spell combination in the early and mid-game when enemies lack defensive items or mobility.

The trouble is that both heroes often want the same thing: farm and a safe position to cast spells from. A draft with both Invoker and Leshrac can feel greedy and may lack a true front-line initiator. Their damage is also almost entirely magical. Once the other team gets Black King Bars, the spell chain that looked so good earlier becomes much less reliable. The fight often falls apart as both heroes struggle to kite and survive without their stuns and slows landing on key targets.
