Invoker + Ringmaster

Why this works

Getting pulled together by Ringmaster feels like the perfect setup for an Invoker combo. In theory, it groups enemies for a clean Meteor and Deafening Blast. The challenge is that both heroes rely on long cooldowns and precise timing. If Invoker doesn't have the right spells ready or the enemy has a way to escape the pull, the whole engagement falls apart. It’s a high-execution play that doesn't always connect, leaving both heroes exposed if it fails to secure a kill. The potential is there, but so is the risk of a complete whiff.

This means the game often comes down to landing that one big combo. A successful gank can secure an objective, but a failed attempt leaves your team without their most impactful abilities for the next fight. Smart opponents will adapt by staying spread out, making Ringmaster's job harder and forcing Invoker to find single-target kills with things like Cold Snap instead. The duo's success depends less on their kits naturally aligning and more on the players forcing it to work, which isn't always possible against a disciplined team.
