Invoker + Sven

Why this works

Finding enough resources for both cores often stretches a team’s map control thin. Sven needs to hit creeps to build his core damage items, while Invoker requires levels and his own items to become a threat. This typically means both heroes are farming separate areas of the map for much of the game. While Invoker can theoretically set up kills with Tornado or boost Sven's attack speed with Alacrity, these heroes are often not in the same place at the same time to execute those combos during the crucial early and mid-game.

This dynamic frequently leads to a passive game plan until both heroes feel ready to fight. The team can be vulnerable to early aggression and lose objectives while waiting for Sven and Invoker to hit their item and level timings. The pairing’s success often hinges on the other three heroes creating enough space and slowing the enemy's tempo. If they can survive long enough for an Alacrity-buffed Sven to activate God's Strength in a teamfight, the game can turn, but reaching that point is often a struggle against coordinated opponents.
