Invoker + Techies

Why this works

Landing a perfect Sun Strike gets a lot easier when the target is slowed and revealed by a Sticky Bomb. Techies provides reliable, single-target setup that complements Invoker’s global presence from the very early stages. A well-timed Blast Off! can also silence a key target, preventing an escape and giving Invoker the window he needs to drop a Meteor or prepare another spell. It's less about one big, flashy combo and more about Techies consistently creating small openings for Invoker to exploit from anywhere on the map.

This dynamic translates into constant pressure. Techies can roam and initiate fights, knowing Invoker can contribute damage globally. In larger engagements, Techies' mines control space and can force enemies into bad positions, which is exactly what an Invoker player looks for to land a big area-of-effect spell. The opponent has to react by investing heavily in vision and trying to pick one of them off alone. Letting this pair set the terms of an engagement creates problems, as they can control the fight's location and initial moments.
