How Jakiro and Lycan perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Jakiro and Lycan win 48.45% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 5,154 matches.
Picking both Jakiro and Lycan together forces a difficult choice about how the team wants to play the map. Lycan's entire game plan revolves around speed: he uses his summons and Shapeshift to accelerate the pace, run down single targets, and take objectives quickly. Jakiro wants the exact opposite. His spells, like Ice Path and Macropyre, are designed to slow fights down, control large areas, and punish stationary opponents. This fundamental conflict means one hero is often unable to contribute to the other's plays. When Lycan wants to dive deep, Jakiro is too slow to follow up, and when Jakiro wants to set up a slow siege, Lycan lacks the tools to poke and would rather be fighting elsewhere.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
