Jakiro + Mars

Why this works

Trapping enemies inside Arena of Blood sounds like a perfect setup, but the reality is messier. Enemies aren't held still; they're free to run around inside the circle to dodge Mars. This constant movement makes it very difficult for Jakiro to land his linear spells like Ice Path or get full value from Macropyre. Mars can also unintentionally ruin setups with God's Rebuke, pushing enemies away right as Jakiro is trying to freeze or burn them. The core control abilities of these two heroes often work against each other.

During a game, this means their big teamfight combination often fails to deliver a decisive blow. Mars will initiate and create a chaotic fight inside the arena, but Jakiro is left trying to predict erratic movement instead of capitalizing on a clear stun. The result is that key enemies often survive the combo by simply walking sideways out of Macropyre or sidestepping the delayed Ice Path. While they can control a lot of space together, the lack of a reliable stun-to-damage sequence leaves openings for the enemy team to turn the fight around.
