Juggernaut + Viper

Why this works

Pairing these two heroes seems like a simple kill combo on paper. Viper’s heavy slows from Poison Attack and Viper Strike can lock a target down for Juggernaut's Blade Fury, and the mixed damage types make it hard to itemize against early. The main issue is that their kits don't directly amplify one another. Both heroes can also be greedy for farm and space, sometimes stepping on each other's toes as they try to hit their own item timings, which keeps the dynamic pretty balanced.

The game plan usually relies on Viper creating mid-game pressure to give Juggernaut space. A farmed Juggernaut can then join fights, using Viper's control to find a clean Omnislash. This tempo is fragile, though. If opponents group up and pressure Juggernaut before he's ready, Viper often lacks the late-game power to finish the game by himself. It all depends on a smooth handoff from Viper's map control to Juggernaut's carry potential, a transition that skilled enemies know how to break.
