How Kez and Monkey King perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Kez and Monkey King win 41.75% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,262 matches.
Picking these two cores feels like a plan for constant aggression, but it usually backfires. Both Kez and Monkey King are greedy melee carries who want to occupy the same space on the map and farm the same camps. They don't enable each other; they compete for resources from the first minute. In teamfights, they have conflicting ideas of a good setup. Kez wants to isolate a single enemy to duel with his stances, while Monkey King looks for a multi-hero Wukong's Command. This lack of coordination often means one hero is left without a good way to contribute, making it easy for the enemy team to pick them off one by one.
