Kunkka + Lifestealer

Why this works

Securing objectives and map control is much simpler with this pair. The core of their strength lies in the Infest and X Marks the Spot combination. Lifestealer hides inside Kunkka, who then acts as a long-range delivery system. Kunkka can mark an enemy hero, blink aggressively, and when the target is pulled back, Lifestealer emerges for a huge burst of damage and a slow. This is an incredibly reliable initiation that can be followed up by Torrent and Ghostship to guarantee a kill on almost any hero caught out of position.

This forces the enemy team to play reactively from the mid-game onward. They have to stay grouped as five, sacrificing farm across the map, or risk losing a core hero instantly. A support can try to break the combo with a well-timed save item, but it’s difficult to predict. Once Lifestealer is out, he can use Rage to become immune to magic, making it very hard for the enemy to turn the gank around. This constant threat allows the Kunkka and Lifestealer team to dictate the tempo of the game.
