Kunkka + Spectre

Why this works

Getting caught out alone against this pair feels hopeless. Kunkka can mark an enemy with X Marks the Spot from a screen away, giving Spectre the signal to Haunt in. The combo guarantees the target is isolated for Desolate damage, and Kunkka’s Torrent provides a guaranteed stun right where they'll be pulled back. Even if the target has a teleport scroll, X will cancel it and return them to the fight. It’s a free kill setup that can be executed from anywhere on the map.

This global pressure forces the enemy team to play uncomfortably grouped for most of the game. Anyone who tries to split push or farm a distant lane is a potential victim, which gives the Kunkka and Spectre team free map control. In later teamfights, Kunkka’s Ghostship adds another layer of control and damage to the Haunt initiation, making it incredibly difficult for enemy cores to survive once they are targeted. The only real answer is to five-man and try to end before Spectre gets too big.
