Legion Commander + Lich

Why this works

Putting Legion Commander and Lich in the same draft creates a very focused gank and teamfight plan. Lich provides all the control and setup that Legion needs to find and win Duels. A target hit by Frost Blast is simple for Legion to run down, while Sinister Gaze can pull a key hero out of position for an uncontested challenge. Once the Duel starts, Frost Shield makes Legion Commander significantly tougher to kill and slows anyone who tries to jump in. Chain Frost is especially dangerous, either repeatedly hitting a solo Duel target or punishing the entire enemy team if they try to save their ally.

This pairing forces the game into a specific rhythm. From the mid-game onward, the duo hunts for isolated heroes to build up Legion Commander's damage. The enemy is forced onto the back foot, needing to stay grouped and buy saves like Force Staffs or Glimmer Capes to survive a Duel attempt. If the opposing team lacks coordination or the tools to counter-initiate, Lich can easily enable a snowballing Legion who takes over the map with guaranteed pickoffs.
