Leshrac + Sniper

Why this works

Facing a Leshrac and a Sniper on the same team can feel surprisingly straightforward. Their ideal positions are opposites: Leshrac wants to be in the middle of the fight with Pulse Nova active, while Sniper needs to be as far away as possible. This pairing doesn't offer much to solve the other's problems. Sniper's Shrapnel slow is soft control, which isn't reliable enough to set up Leshrac's delayed Split Earth stun. In return, Leshrac provides no frontline presence or peel to protect Sniper from heroes that dive the backline. They essentially function as two independent, fragile damage dealers.

This composition puts enormous pressure on the other three heroes to provide a durable frontline and hard initiation. If your team can't supply that, fights become chaotic. The enemy can often walk past Leshrac to reach and eliminate Sniper, or they can turn and burst Leshrac when he runs in alone. The burden of creating space and protecting both cores at once is significant. When that plan fails, Leshrac and Sniper can't really save each other, forcing them to fight separate, losing battles instead of working as a cohesive unit.
