Lich + Necrophos

Why this works

A target caught by Lich's Sinister Gaze becomes an easy kill for Necrophos. The channel holds them perfectly in place to eat a full-duration Heartstopper Aura and multiple Death Pulses. Lich also provides layers of crowd control with Frost Blast's slow, making it impossible for enemies to kite Necrophos. More importantly, Frost Shield makes Necrophos exceptionally difficult to bring down, letting him stand his ground, heal through damage with his own spells, and wear opponents down over time. The combination of slows and damage reduction lets Necrophos play far more aggressively than he normally could.

This pressure starts in the laning stage, where the constant slows and sustain create an oppressive environment for the enemy core. Necrophos can secure farm and deny opportunities, building a lead that's hard to contest. Later in the game, Lich can set up kills from a safe distance, pulling a key enemy forward for the team to collapse on before Necrophos lands Reaper's Scythe. The enemy team is forced to find a way to burst one of them down instantly or split them up, because trying to fight them head-on in a prolonged engagement usually ends in failure.
