Lich + Terrorblade

Why this works

Laning against this pair can be a real headache. Lich constantly harasses with Frost Blast while keeping Terrorblade safe with Frost Shield, making it tough to trade hits effectively. The slows from both heroes stack up, which feels oppressive if you get caught out of position. However, the lane has a clear weakness: there's no stun. If you have a way to get on top of Terrorblade, Lich can only slow you down. He can't truly stop you from finishing the kill, and a well-timed teleport can often be enough to get away from them completely.

This lane is mostly about securing farm for Terrorblade until he gets his core items and Metamorphosis. Lich's job is to create space and keep him alive. Once teamfights start, the synergy is less direct. Lich throws Chain Frost into the fight and hopes for bounces, while Terrorblade positions himself to do damage. It works, but they don't set each other up in a special way. The game often comes down to whether Terrorblade can survive the initial jump, which Frost Shield helps with, but doesn't guarantee.
