Why this works

Getting caught by a Light Strike Array feels extra punishing here. The stun gives Lifestealer a clean opening to run in and apply Open Wounds, which makes escape almost impossible. Lina provides the initial lockdown and magic burst, and Lifestealer follows up with sustained right-clicks that can’t be ignored. The combination of high magic and physical damage on a single locked-down hero is often too much to survive, forcing opponents into awkward defensive item choices that have to counter both.

This duo is strongest when roaming for kills in the mid-game to build an advantage. Lifestealer gives Lina a durable frontline partner who can use Rage to ignore the spells that would typically threaten a fragile caster. This buys her the space she needs to position safely and get her combo off. Enemies have to play carefully, either by splitting up to avoid the gank or by saving mobility items like a Force Staff to break the stun-and-slow chain before Lifestealer can connect. The whole game can hinge on whether Lina can land her setup on a key target.
