Lifestealer + Lion

Why this works

Getting caught out by a Lion is always a problem, but it’s especially dangerous when a Lifestealer is nearby. The sequence of Earth Spike into Hex provides a long, reliable stun duration. This gives Lifestealer a perfect window to activate Rage, run in, and start dealing heavy damage. Because Lifestealer is magic immune during Rage, your allies can't use their own stuns or slows to peel for you. The combination makes it very difficult for a single hero to escape the gank once Lion lands his initial disable.

This pressure starts early, with Lion able to set up kills that Lifestealer can join using Infest for surprise appearances. In teamfights, the duo often tries to isolate and delete a key support or a core without magic immunity. The main counterplay involves good positioning to avoid Lion's initiation and having save items like a Force Staff ready. If the enemy team can survive the initial lockdown or burst Lion down before he gets his full combo off, the threat is manageable, but it forces them to play cautiously.
