Why this works

Hunting for a kill on the first night becomes a simple affair. Night Stalker’s Crippling Fear denies escape spells while his slows keep the target in place. This gives Lifestealer a free window to apply Open Wounds and start hitting. The most powerful tool, however, is having Lifestealer Infest Night Stalker. During Dark Ascension, Night Stalker can fly over any terrain, delivering Lifestealer directly on top of an unsuspecting hero for an unavoidable initiation. It's a brutal ganking partnership that's very difficult to see coming.

This duo aims to create pressure the moment the sun goes down. The threat of a flying Lifestealer bomb forces opponents to group up early, surrendering map control and farm. If they're caught alone, they’re dead. The opposing team's goal is to survive the nights, place defensive vision, and hope they have enough lockdown to handle both heroes at once. If Lifestealer and Night Stalker secure a lead during the first few nights, they can often snowball the advantage into a game-ending push before the enemy cores come online.
