Lifestealer + Clockwerk

Why this works

Hiding inside Clockwerk with Infest gives Lifestealer a long-range delivery system. Clockwerk can Hookshot onto an enemy, bringing Lifestealer directly into a fight and letting him emerge on a target he could never reach on his own. This bypasses the usual problem of Lifestealer getting kited before he can apply Rage and start dealing damage. The combination of Clockwerk's initiation stun and lockdown from Cogs can be enough to secure a kill before the target can react, setting a strong tempo from the mid-game onward.

However, the success of this plan is conditional. It depends entirely on Clockwerk finding a good Hookshot target that is isolated enough to kill. If the enemy team is grouped, or if they have instant saves like a Force Staff or Glimmer Cape, the entire play can fall apart. A failed attempt leaves both heroes out of position, having committed major spells for no reward. Because it’s a high-risk, single-target play, its effectiveness varies greatly from fight to fight, leading to an inconsistent and unpredictable advantage.
