How Lifestealer and Skywrath Mage perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lifestealer and Skywrath Mage win 51.94% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 84,646 matches.
Securing an early lead for Lifestealer often translates to taking Roshan or pushing towers sooner than the enemy expects. The two heroes can run down almost anyone in a lane. Skywrath Mage typically opens with a strong slow from Concussive Shot, letting Lifestealer get into range for Open Wounds. With the target now barely moving, Skywrath can easily land a full combo, made more potent by Ancient Seal's magic amplification. This initial burst and slow setup is very difficult to survive. If the target's allies try to intervene with spells, Lifestealer can use Rage to ignore them and confirm the kill, creating space for him to farm and accelerate.
