Lifestealer + Snapfire

Why this works

Drafting these two heroes together creates a classic and reliable initiation combo. Lifestealer’s biggest problem is closing the distance to his target, and Snapfire’s Firesnap Cookie solves this perfectly. She can launch him directly onto an enemy, stunning them on arrival and allowing him to start hitting immediately. Lifestealer can also use Infest on Snapfire, letting her carry him invisibly or through dangerous areas before she uses Cookie on herself to dive in. This turns a slow, durable hero into a surprise projectile that starts a fight on his own terms.

The game plan for this duo is to find pickoffs from the early mid-game onward. They will smoke together, looking for any hero out of position. The opposing team has to play with deep vision and respect any time Snapfire goes missing. Spreading out is essential, as a clumped team is an easy target for the Infest-Cookie bomb. The main counterplay is to survive the initial burst and stun. If you can save your defensive items or escape abilities for after Lifestealer appears, you can kite him once his Rage wears off. Otherwise, he and Snapfire can easily roll over a fight.
