Lifestealer + Techies

Why this works

Picking these two heroes gives your team one of the most reliable initiation combos available. Lifestealer can use Infest to hide inside Techies, who then uses Blast Off! to deliver them both directly onto a priority target. When they land, the enemy is silenced and damaged, creating the perfect setup for Lifestealer to emerge with Rage active and immune to return spells. Even without that big combo, a simple Sticky Bomb from Techies provides a heavy slow that makes it easy for Lifestealer to catch and stick to an opponent.

This constant threat forces the enemy to change how they play. From the mid-game on, they can't safely group up for fear of a devastating Infest-bomb initiation. They have to invest in extra vision to try and spot Techies before he can launch, and individual players are pressured into buying items like a Force Staff or Ghost Scepter to survive the initial burst. Every time Techies appears alone, the enemy has to respect the possibility that Lifestealer is inside, waiting for the right moment to turn a simple gank into a team wipe.
