How Lifestealer and Viper perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lifestealer and Viper win 50.28% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 51,069 matches.
Trying to run from this duo is a nightmare for the enemy team. The constant slows from Viper give Lifestealer the setup he needs to connect and apply Open Wounds. Once Lifestealer is on a target, they aren't getting away, especially after Viper gets his ultimate. Lifestealer can also use Infest on Viper, creating a durable and dangerous initiation tool. Viper can walk into a fight, absorb attention with Corrosive Skin, and then Lifestealer emerges with Rage to focus a key hero. It's a simple but effective way to control the pace of teamfights and secure pickoffs, giving the pair a consistent way to apply pressure across the map.
