Lina + Luna

Why this works

Pairing two heavy-damage cores looks strong on paper, but the reality is that both heroes need a lot of resources. Lina and Luna both want to occupy a lane and jungle camps to hit their key item timings, which can lead to them competing for farm on the map. They also lack a reliable way to set up kills for each other. Lina’s Light Strike Array is a decent stun, but it's not the kind of lockdown that a carry like Luna needs to feel safe or secure kills. They both primarily offer damage, and don't do much to enable one another.

This dynamic often creates a difficult mid-game. Without a strong frontline or initiator from another role, both Lina and Luna are vulnerable to being picked off before they can contribute to a fight. An opponent can exploit their lack of defensive abilities and control. While it's possible for them both to get farmed and overwhelm the enemy with sheer damage from Eclipse and Laguna Blade, it's a risky game plan. More often, one of them falls behind, and the other doesn't have the tools to create space or peel for their struggling partner.
