Lina + Razor

Why this works

Stacking their damage on one target can be awkward because their goals are opposed. Razor wants to latch onto an enemy with Static Link and drain their damage over several seconds, effectively neutralizing them for a teamfight. Lina, on the other hand, wants to use Light Strike Array and Laguna Blade to delete that same target in an instant. When Lina successfully bursts the person Razor is linking, Razor gains very little stolen damage and his main spell is wasted. One hero wants a slow drain, the other wants an immediate pop, and they often get in each other's way.

This conflict makes their game plan feel disjointed. While Lina's stun can help set up a link, the follow-up from both heroes is redundant. They end up with a lot of single-target damage but often lack the hard lockdown, initiation, or durability that a core duo needs to be effective. If the game isn't going well, a team with both Razor and Lina has very few defensive tools or ways to control a fight. They both need to be ahead to feel powerful, and their kits don't do much to help each other get there.
