Lina + Tusk

Why this works

Pairing Tusk and Lina together banks on landing a specific ganking sequence. The idea is for Tusk to initiate with Snowball or trap an enemy with Ice Shards, creating a stationary target for Lina’s delayed Light Strike Array. In practice, the timing can be awkward. Tusk’s lockdown isn't particularly long, and a slight misstep in positioning or timing from either player often means the stun is missed and the target gets away. The combo isn't adding much that another hero couldn't provide more reliably; they both offer burst and a stun, leading to some redundancy.

Throughout the game, this duo’s success relies on executing that perfect gank. When it works, they can blow up a single hero before a fight even starts. When it fails, both heroes have used their primary disables and are left vulnerable. Aware opponents will position themselves to make the Ice Shards a hindrance, using the terrain to block Lina's approach or angle for her stun. While the two heroes can certainly get kills together, the required coordination makes the partnership less consistent than it appears on paper.
