Luna + Pudge

Why this works

Pulling a target out of position with Meat Hook provides a perfect window for Luna to attack. If Pudge follows up with Dismember, the enemy is locked down long enough for Luna to apply all her damage. The ideal scenario is using this combo on an isolated hero, which allows Luna's Eclipse to concentrate all its beams on that one target for a quick kill. Luna can even help set up the initial hook with a quick Lucent Beam stun. This lockdown is something Luna completely lacks in her own kit, making Pudge a potentially useful setup partner for ganks.

This partnership is highly dependent on Pudge's execution. A successful hook can create space and secure a kill, accelerating Luna's farm and helping control the map. A missed hook, however, often accomplishes nothing and can leave both heroes out of position. Their game plans can also diverge; Pudge thrives on constant mid-game action, while Luna needs dedicated time to farm her core items. If the pickoffs don't snowball into an advantage, the pairing can feel disjointed, with neither hero fully enabling the other to hit their stride.
