Luna + Clockwerk

Why this works

Getting caught by Clockwerk's Hookshot is uncomfortable, but having a Luna nearby turns it into a damage race. The idea is for Clockwerk to find and isolate a target with Power Cogs, creating a small arena for Luna to unload everything she has. With the target trapped, Luna can land Lucent Beam and potentially her whole Eclipse without having to chase. Battery Assault adds to the disruption, making it hard for the caught hero to react or cast spells before they die. The goal is a quick, decisive pick-off using their combined burst.

This whole setup hinges on both heroes having their ultimates ready and being in position to execute. If Luna doesn't have Eclipse, or if Clockwerk initiates from too far away, the burst damage just isn't there and the target can often survive. Enemies with a Force Staff or other saves can also easily break up the attempt, leaving Clockwerk isolated and vulnerable. It's a high-commitment play that requires good coordination to work, and if it fails, the fight can swing the other way very quickly.
