How Lycan and Pudge perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lycan and Pudge win 48.94% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 13,569 matches.
Drafting both Lycan and Pudge often splits the team's game plan in two. Lycan wants to use Shapeshift on cooldown to pressure towers and force objectives with his summons, which requires the team to play around his timings. Pudge, on the other hand, wants to play a slower game of finding pickoffs with Meat Hook. This usually leaves Lycan pushing alone or pulls Pudge into fights he isn't suited for. This pairing isn't common, so it's hard to be certain this is always how it goes. But usually, they are trying to execute two different strategies at once.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
