How Lycan and Queen of Pain perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lycan and Queen of Pain win 47.46% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 4,964 matches.
Hitting the mid-game, both heroes want to take over, but they want to do it in different ways. Lycan wants to group his summons, force objectives, and end the game early. He provides Howl for his team, but Queen of Pain's playstyle doesn't fully capitalize on a deathball push. She's a mobile ganker who thrives on finding solo pickoffs across the map, using magic burst to control enemy heroes. This creates a strategic rift: when Lycan is knocking on a tier three tower, Queen of Pain contributes little besides her ultimate. The team gets pulled between pushing with one core and hunting with the other, rarely achieving either goal effectively.
