Magnus + Ogre Magi

Why this works

Facing a hero with both Empower and Bloodlust can feel oppressive. They attack with tremendous speed from the Ogre Magi buff, while Magnus provides the cleave and bonus damage to tear through creeps and supports. The idea is to turn one allied melee core into a farming accelerator and fighting powerhouse. This combination looks to create a raid boss out of a third hero, giving them all the tools needed to right-click their way through the enemy team from the mid-game onward.

In reality, the execution is often clumsy. Both Magnus and Ogre Magi want to play up close, but they might need to apply their buffs to a different hero who is positioned elsewhere. The entire strategy hinges on that one melee core having a good game; if they get shut down, the buffs don't provide much utility to salvage the situation. Because the game plan is so dependent on a third hero's performance and specific positioning, it doesn't create a reliable advantage. The outcome usually depends more on how the lanes go and less on this particular hero pairing.
