Magnus + Phoenix

Why this works

Grouping enemies with Reverse Polarity creates a perfect setup for a Supernova. Because Magnus holds them in place, they can’t run away or focus attacks onto the egg. This massively increases the chances that Phoenix gets the full spell off, resulting in a team-wide stun and a refreshed hero. The combo isn't just about the damage; it's about controlling multiple enemies long enough for Phoenix's riskiest spell to pay off. Even outside of that, Skewer can drag an enemy back into a Sun Ray or line them up for Fire Spirits.

This synergy relies on long cooldowns, so you won't see it in every fight. The game plan for this duo is to find a key fight with both ultimates available and use it to break a stalemate or secure an objective. In between these moments, the coordination is less direct. Phoenix can use Icarus Dive to get vision or a flanking position that helps Magnus find an opening. Opponents will try to play spread out, force one ultimate before the other is ready, or simply build enough health to survive the initial burst and then deal with the egg.
