Magnus + Clockwerk

Why this works

Coordinating a teamfight gets awkward when both of your initiators want to go first. Clockwerk excels at isolating a single enemy with Hookshot and Power Cogs, trapping them for his team. Magnus, on the other hand, wants to catch as many enemies as possible in a Reverse Polarity. These two game plans often clash. Cogs can block Magnus from getting a good angle for his ultimate, or he might Skewer a target that Clockwerk was trying to lock down. They end up competing for the same role in a fight rather than complementing each other.

The result is often a disjointed mid-game where the team struggles to take decisive fights. Instead of a clean setup, one hero's initiation can actively ruin the other's. To make it work, the team needs incredible coordination, with Clockwerk holding his Hookshot until after the RP, or Magnus using his abilities to help burst the target inside the Cogs. More often than not, though, the team's tempo suffers because its two primary playmakers are stepping on each other's toes, making it harder to secure objectives or control the map.
