Why this works

Stacking Reverse Polarity and Ravage together is tempting, but it's usually overkill. The real strength here is having two separate, game-winning ultimates. You can use one to secure Roshan, then still have the other ready to defend high ground a minute later. This gives your team a lot of control over the mid-game tempo. A more consistent benefit comes from Magnus casting Empower on Tidehunter. It boosts Tide's farming speed and makes his Anchor Smash a serious threat in teamfights, letting him cleave down supports while he soaks up damage on the frontline.

Across the game, this duo gives you options rather than raw power. The success of the draft depends on using those options wisely. Your team can force fights, knowing you have a backup ultimate if the first engagement doesn't go perfectly. The enemy, however, knows this too. They will try to bait out one big spell and then reset, forcing you to play defensively while you wait for cooldowns. If your team misuses one of these ultimates, the enemy gets a huge window to take objectives. The whole game becomes a careful dance around these two long cooldowns.
