Magnus + Ursa

Why this works

Grouping enemies with Reverse Polarity creates the perfect setup for area damage, but Ursa is built for single-target annihilation. While Empower from Magnus provides a welcome damage boost and some cleave, Ursa still needs to stack Fury Swipes on one hero to secure a kill. He can't properly exploit a multi-hero stun the same way a carry with wide, sweeping attacks can. Ursa's need to focus fire on a single enemy means the core opportunity that Reverse Polarity creates—hitting everyone at once—is largely wasted.

This fundamental conflict defines their games. The plan works for picking off a single hero, but it falls apart in five-on-five engagements. After the stun from Reverse Polarity wears off, Ursa finds himself in the middle of the surviving enemies, having eliminated one target but now dangerously out of position. Other carries use the setup to wipe the fight, but for Ursa, it often results in trading his life for a support. The enemy team is perfectly grouped to turn and collapse on him the moment they can act.
