Marci + Sniper

Why this works

Throwing an enemy with Dispose often puts them out of Sniper's reach. Marci wants to toss a target back into her team to be burst down, but Sniper’s safe position is usually much farther back than where the enemy lands. This forces Sniper to either risk moving forward or to switch targets, losing the benefit of Marci's lockdown. While Sidekick can provide a decent damage and lifesteal buff, it doesn't solve the core positioning problem. Marci’s main initiation tool actively works against Sniper's need to maintain a safe distance from the fight.

In teamfights, this means the two heroes rarely focus the same priority target. Marci will dive deep to find a support, while Sniper is forced to attack the enemy frontliner who is running at him. They end up splitting the team's damage instead of concentrating it. A hero like Sniper gets more value from allies who can hold the line and keep enemies at arm's length, allowing him to fire freely. Marci's playstyle of diving and repositioning enemies is simply at odds with how Sniper wants a fight to unfold.
