Marci + Io

Why this works

Relocating in with an Unleashed Marci is a classic way to pick off a solo hero. Io's Tether provides the movement speed and healing needed for Marci to stick to her target and survive the initial return damage. Overcharge can also give a nice boost to her attack speed during the flurry. This turns a brawling hero into a potential assassin, appearing from nowhere to burst a key enemy before a fight can properly begin. The global pressure this duo can apply forces enemies to play much more carefully once Io hits his ultimate.

In practice, though, this pairing has its limits. Both heroes need to be right on top of the enemy, which makes them extremely vulnerable to big area-of-effect lockdown and damage. Marci also has her own mobility with Rebound, so the benefit from Tether isn't as pronounced as it is for other cores. The success of a Relocate play is entirely dependent on Marci having Unleash ready. If that long cooldown is down, the gank potential disappears, making the lane feel fairly standard and without a specific edge.
