Mars + Silencer

Why this works

Using Arena of Blood and Global Silence together is the core issue. Both are massive, long-cooldown abilities designed to win a teamfight, but they don't enhance each other. Mars traps enemies so his team can unload damage, while Silencer’s ultimate already stops those same enemies from casting spells to escape or retaliate. This overlap feels wasteful, as one of these spells is often enough to control the engagement on its own. Using both to solve one problem means you are not getting full value from either hero's most important contribution.

This lack of synergy creates awkward moments across the game. Their laning combination is not particularly strong, and later your team is forced to choose: use one ultimate and hope it's enough, or use both and be powerless for the next few minutes. An aware enemy team will exploit this. They can bait out one of the big spells, reset, and then force a fight or take an objective while knowing you've spent a critical cooldown. Mars and Silencer can both win fights, but together they struggle to create more than the sum of their parts.
