Mars + Tiny

Why this works

Playing against this pair can feel surprisingly manageable. The core problem is that their big teamfight spells actively work against each other. Mars wants to trap enemies inside Arena of Blood to guarantee spear stuns and control the zone. Tiny, however, often uses Toss on a priority target, which can throw that enemy straight out of the arena, completely wasting Mars's ultimate. This fundamental conflict means their signature moves, instead of combining, often cancel each other out, leaving the enemy carry free to escape what should have been a deadly trap.

This clash starts from the draft, as both heroes want to occupy a similar core role and farm the same areas of the map. In fights, the duo requires a huge amount of coordination to be effective. For the combo to land, Tiny must hold his Toss or use it to throw enemies back into the Arena, which is a very difficult and high-pressure play to make. More often than not, one hero's initiation spoils the other's. This gives opponents plenty of opportunities to split up, kite their single-minded aggression, and punish the lack of synergy.
