Medusa + Mirana

Why this works

Looking for a simple Sacred Arrow to set up a kill misses the more reliable play. The better synergy often runs the other way around. When Medusa triggers Stone Gaze, opponents must turn their backs, creating a perfect, predictable window for Mirana to land her arrow without needing a heroic shot from the fog. Beyond that, a well-timed Moonlight Shadow is an excellent tool for helping Medusa escape the early ganks that aim to shut down her farm, giving her the space she needs to come online.

Throughout the game, this allows both heroes to play to their own strengths without being tethered to one another. Mirana can roam and make plays, knowing she has a powerful teamfight combination available later, while Medusa can focus on farming. In fights, they can force the enemy team into a difficult choice between being petrified by Medusa or stunned by Mirana. Still, both heroes are self-sufficient and their kits don't fundamentally depend on each other, which is why the pairing feels more like a convenient bonus than a core strategy.
