Mirana + Spectre

Why this works

Getting caught out alone is a death sentence against this pair. Spectre’s Haunt provides the global reach, and Mirana supplies the lockdown. A long-range Sacred Arrow can be the initiation, giving Spectre a clear target to jump on. Alternatively, Spectre can Haunt first, using her Spectral Dagger's slow to make the follow-up Arrow from Mirana trivial to land. This pickoff potential lets Spectre apply Desolate to a solo target, securing kills across the map before the enemy team can react.

This global threat defines the mid-game. Once Spectre has Haunt, opponents are forced to group together, which slows their farm and cedes map control. Any successful pickoff by the Spectre and Mirana duo can be converted into a tower or Roshan. Later, Mirana's Moonlight Shadow adds another layer of initiation, allowing their team to find an opening for Spectre to exploit. To play around it, enemies must maintain disciplined five-man formations, which is exhausting and often impossible.
