How Monkey King and Nyx Assassin perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Monkey King and Nyx Assassin win 48.74% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 15,539 matches.
Stacking burst damage on a single target is what this pair does, but it's often inefficient. Nyx Assassin can set up a kill with Impale and Vendetta, but the target frequently dies before Monkey King can land enough hits to activate Jingu Mastery. This means you're using two heroes' full kits for one kill, which can be overkill. After that initial pickoff, the lineup can feel weak. Both Monkey King and Nyx Assassin have committed their primary spells and don't provide the sustained teamfight presence, building damage, or wave clear needed to secure an advantage from that opening kill, leaving the draft feeling one-dimensional.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
