Monkey King + Ursa

Why this works

Picking both Monkey King and Ursa means you are committing to two heroes who want to do the exact same job. The core conflict is that both need to repeatedly hit the same target to be effective. Monkey King builds stacks for Jingu Mastery, and Ursa builds stacks for Fury Swipes. When they focus the same enemy, they get in each other's way, slowing down how quickly either can ramp up their damage. Neither hero provides the long-duration lockdown or utility needed to truly set up the other, creating an awkward and inefficient damage-dealing pair.

This redundancy makes the team's strategy very easy to read and counter. Both heroes need to farm aggressively for similar items and timings, often competing for the same space on the map. An opponent can build a single Heaven's Halberd or Ghost Scepter and disrupt a huge part of your team's game plan. Since both heroes deal physical damage and struggle against kiting, the enemy team doesn't have to split its itemization choices. The lineup lacks versatility, making it difficult to adapt if the initial plan to run at the enemy and right-click them fails.
