How Morphling and Io perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Morphling and Io win 44.45% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 8,450 matches.
Drafting Morphling with an Io support puts immense pressure on your laning phase. Both heroes are notoriously fragile and lack ways to control the creep wave or trade effectively against common offlaners. The result is often a lost lane where Morphling can't secure farm, delaying his critical items indefinitely. While the classic Relocate ganks are powerful in theory, they require a Morphling who is already ahead, not one struggling to recover from a bad start. Io can't do much to save a core who has been completely shut down; Morphling would much rather have a support who can create space and help win the lane for him.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
